Our Community Salutes

​​​​​​​​​​​​​Military Blue Star Mothers NY14 is proud to support Our Community Salutes of Nassau County, a program dedicated to recognizing local high school seniors who have chosen to enlist in the United States military after graduation.

Each year, the Enlistee Recognition Ceremony honors these young men and women, along with their families, for their commitment to service and sacrifice. It is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together and show support before these recruits begin their military journey.

Our Community Salutes of Nassau County, NY will host its annual Enlistee Recognition Ceremony honoring the Class of 2026 high school seniors and their families on May 19, 2026. Light refreshments will be provided.

High school seniors who are enlisting in the military and would like to participate in the ceremony must register through the Our Community Salutes website.
